Traveling

The Ambassadors departed Raleigh on July 29th for Helsingborg, Sweden.  A number of players and families had made their own travel plans but the majority traveled with the group to Dulles Airport and the flights to Paris and on to Copenhagen.

Unfortunately weather played a factor and the group at Dulles was forced to scramble a bit to get everyone a flight over.  Coach Rickey played the part of Travel Agent and was able to get all of the girls on a flight.  While some others had some minor issues (Mike and Sophia Walsh missed their connecting flight to London and had to be re-routed), the Dulles crew had the toughest trek.  By the time they got to Copenhagen, 11 bags were missing!
